Hatch Green Chile season is here and AZ Food Crafters is celebrating with an entire menu dedicated to this special ingredient. Fresh from Hatch, New Mexico, the Hatch Green Chile plays an important role (aka a powerful punch of flavor!) in the following items available beginning Thursday, August 1 and throughout the Hatch season:

Hatch Green Chile Pork — Chunks of AZ Food Crafters 16-hour slow-roasted pork shoulder with homemade Hatch Green Chile Sauce (24 oz. container, $16)

Hatch Green Chile Chicken — Tender chunks of poached chicken breast, tossed in homemade Hatch Green Chile Sauce and diced roasted Hatch Green Chiles (24 oz. container, $14)

Green Chile Mac and Cheese
 — Elbow pasta tossed in homemade Hatch Green Chile Sauce, diced roasted Hatch Green Chiles, cheddar cheese, and Handcrafted Cheese Sauce. (20 oz. container $10

Green Chile Potatoes — Gold potatoes, diced Hatch Green Chiles, onion, garlic, Pecorino and Jack cheese (20 oz. container, $10)

Hatch Green Chile Pork Hand Pies – Slow-roasted pork shoulder, Hatch Green Chile Sauce and Jack cheese. (Frozen 3-pack, $12)

Hatch Green Chile Chicken Hand Pies — Tender poached chicken breast, Hatch Green Chile Sauce, diced Hatch Green Chiles, and Jack and Pecorino Romano cheese. (Frozen 3-pack, $12)

Hatch Green Chile and Cheese Hand Pies  Fire-roasted Hatch Green Chiles, Jack, Mozzarella and Pecorino Romano cheese. (Frozen 3-pack, $12) Also available in double extra hot. Must be ordered in advance; quantities are limited.

Hatch Green Chile, Corn and Potato Chowder (Vegan, GF) — Gold potatoes, onion, garlic, Hatch Green Chiles, fresh corn, sea salt and black pepper. (16 oz. container, $5)

Hatch Green Chile Pork Stew — Rich pork stock, chunks of tender pork shoulder, Hatch Green Chiles, gold potatoes, salt, pepper and spices. (16 oz. container, $5)

Hatch Green Chile Apple and Cheddar Hand Pie — Crisp, tart Granny Smith apple pie filling, Hatch Green Chiles and cheddar cheese crust. ($4 each)

 

 

All items on the new Hatch Green Chile menu are available for pre-order and pick-up at AZ Food Crafter’s kitchen in Chandler or one of the company’s farmers’ market locations including:

Some items are available in limited quantities and require advance order. Menu is available while supplies last or when the season comes to a close in September.
