Flix Brewhouse Announces Special Screenings of Last Call and Live Q&A
Date(s) – 09/14/2019 – 09/15/2019
7:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Flix Brewhouse, located at 1 Chandler Boulevard, announces a special screening of the split-screen movie Last Call on Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14. On each night following the screening, Flix will also host a special live Q&A session with Daved Wilkins (creator, writer and actor), Gavin Michael Booth (director and writer), and Sarah Booth (female lead actor).
Last Call is a real-time feature presented in a split-screen format that showcases both ends of a wrong number phone call that has the potential to save one’s life. The movie follows a suicidal alcoholic on the anniversary of his son’s death — and the woman on the other end of his misdial, a single mother working as a night janitor at a local community college. The film follows both characters simultaneously as they navigate a life-changing conversation.
Flix Brewhouse will also be featuring a special brew that coincides with the film’s topic called 1-800-273-8255, which is part of a national movement for brewers to bring awareness to the suicide prevention hotline by naming a new brew or relabeling an already existing brew as the hotline number. This beer will be available exclusively from Tuesday, September 10 until Tuesday, September 17.
Movie time is 7:00 p.m. on both evenings, and the Q&A will follow the showing. Tickets for both shows can be purchased via https://www.flixbrewhouse.com/chandler/last-call-9-13-cha.
