Waiting For Henson

Two figures meet on a lonely stretch of road in the middle of nowhere. Nothing is certain, nothing can be done, and nothing really happens. But if you think these are just world-weary men waiting for some chap named Godot, you might feel like someone’s been pulling your strings. The All Puppet Players pull out all of the stops to bring their first original production to the stage. This offbeat, puppet-centric satire takes absurdist theater to new heights at Playhouse on the Park in Phoenix. It’s the play Beckett might’ve written had he taken a wrong turn onto Sesame Street.
This nonsensical-tomfoolery abandons logical construction, rational thought, and intellectually usable arguments to prove that irrationality, self-awareness, and puppets are a lethal combination when someone tries to assign meaning to them.
WARNING! NO ONE under 17 years old will be permitted into shows. NO EXCEPTIONS. All Puppet Players shows are for mature audiences with exceedingly immature tastes (although tasting is not recommended due to risk of fur balls). They contain strong adult language and situations. Puppets can be unpredictable—so if you are of a sensitive nature or are easily offended—puppets don’t care.
